Notes on an ongoing project that attempts to sonically represent place.
Taking English Neo-Romantic landscape painting as a starting point, I will consider and portray places, not just from a traditional stereophonic perspective, but attempt to represent the sound emotionally, historically and conceptually.
Sound and Music have an interesting features page called Places. Just as you would imagine, it is about particular places. Big places. They attest to being interested in more contributions which is great. May run The Pilgrims' Way by them.
